Facebook Deletes “Other” Mailbox

Facebook will soon omit the obscure “other” message folder in your inbox. The mailbox is typically a repository for spam and unwanted messages – usually from people who are not a user’s Facebook “friend”. Alternately, Facebook will create a new “message requests feature,” where users will be able to accept or ignore incoming messages without the sender knowing.
