Snapchat, the social media app whose messages quickly disappear from phones once posted, is nearing its IPO.  Share prices are set at $14 to $16 – the biggest offering since 2014, making the valuation potentially $22.2 billion. Trading could begin as early as March 2.

Instagram announced yesterday a new, albeit basic feature: Zoom.  The new functionality will allow users to zoom in on photos and videos in their feeds, others’ profiles and photos in the Explore section.


Mattel recently released a Game Developer Barbie in efforts to break gender stereotypes in the STEM industry; but one thing the toy company failed to do was feature the doll in different ethnicities.
