As President Obama’s 2nd term winds down, job growth in the private sector is stonger than when he took office. The nearly 8 million private sector jobs lost during the Bush Administration has been added back to the economy. Despite the escalating tension in Iraq, President Obama has effectively ended two wars – enabling thousands of troops to return home to their families. Unemployment has dropped to 6.1 percent. The markets are doing fine. Upward of 15 million Americans now enjoy the security of health caare coverage, thanks to the President’s historic legislative achievement – the Affordable Care Act, derisively known as Obamacare. And, President Obama has used his Executive Powers to circumvent an obstructionist Congress that continues to fail to pass comprehensive Immigration reform. Despite a concerted effort by Republicans to sully his Presidency, Obama has maintained a steady hand. Unfortunately for President Obama, a new Quinnipiac University poll, which suggest he’s the worse President since WWII, dampens what would otherwise be considered an accomplished Presidency. ‘COMMUNITY VOICES’ host, Ron Holland, delves into the Quinnipiac University Survey and explore the real reasons why there’s a dramatic dip in the President’s popularity and poll numbers.
