Wes Got Range heads to “Sea Level” in the Hearst Tower in Charlotte, North Carolina for some delicious seafood and soccer talk with Charlotte Independence defender Patrick Slogic. Wes heads into the kitchen where he showcases the marvelous shrimp po boy as created by Sea Level Chef Johnathan which is one of their signature dishes that is sure to please. Then Wes heads out on the patio where he meets up with Patrick Slogic of the Charlotte Independence to taste some of Sea Level’s most delectable dishes and talks soccer, or futbol, whatever is your flavor. The journey from Ivy League Cornell to the professional ranks is topic number 1 as Slogic explains that the path a college soccer star takes is much different than the more well known path traveled by NBA and NFL stars. Slogic, who is known as a defensive stopper breaks down how one earns that distincition in the world of soccer and also discloses some of his tricks of the trade. Solgic also explains what his strategy would be against one of the best in the world in Cristiano Ronaldo! The fellas talk about the rising popularity of the “other” football and just why Charlotteans should come out and support the Independence. The “Slogic Army” is also a topic of discussion as we break down how this crazy crew came about and what they bring to the atmosphere of Ramblewood Stadium. The best of Sea Levels menu is on full display as they dine on oysters, shrimp steam buns, corn fritters, a catfish reuben, wreckfish, fried oyster tacos and a lobster roll to die for!
