While Pastor Marvin Winans continues to recover from an assault and carjacking last week, Detroit police have identified two young men involved in the crime.

According to the Detroit Free Press, the two young men were identified on Wednesday and a warrant request was issued to the Wayne County Prosecutor’s office.

Winans, who heads the 4,500 member Perfecting Church in Detroit, sustained minor injuries during the carjacking. Winans was pumping gas at a Citgo gas station when a group of three or four young men began punching and kicking him. Winans was also flung to the ground during the robbery.

The assailants robbed Winans of his $15,000 Rolex watch, IPhone, a gold metallic brief case and a wallet with $200 in cash. Police located Winans’ vehicle next to an abandoned property. No damages to the vehicle were reported. Police have yet to release the names of the young men involved in the carjacking. The other young men involved in the crime have yet to be identified.
