The killing of Florida teen Trayvon Martin sparked national protests in recent weeks. Martin’s killer, George Zimmerman was arrested and charged with 2nd Degree murder 44 days after the killing. Local Civil Rights activist, John C. Barnett vowed to keep the killing of Trayvon Martin alive until Zimmerman is convicted. Barnett, founder of T.H.U.G (True Healing Under God) Ministries  talked with ‘Community Voices’ host, Ron Holland, about the Trayvon Martin killing and the rallies he helped to organize in Charlotte.
