Hillary Clinton has enough support from pledged delegates and superdelegates to be declared the Democratic presidential nominee, the first woman to lead a major party in the race for the White House.  News service officials determined last night that she has reached the necessary number of 2,383 delegates.  New Jersey and California kicked off coast-to-coast primaries this morning. Bernie Sanders’s campaign called the announcement a “rush to judgment,” and is pressing forward in today’s primaries.
