When Leon Walker, 33, suspected his wife of cheating he got on their shared computer and checked her email. His suspicions were confirmed. Now Walker, a computer technician, is charged with felony computer misuse and could spend 5 years in jail if convicted.
Michigan prosecutor Jessica Cooper believes Walker’s job as a computer tech makes him a threat. Says Cooper: “The guy is a hacker. [The computer] was password protected, he had wonderful skills, and was highly trained. Then he downloaded them and used them in a very contentious way,” Cooper told the Detroit Free Press.”
