Last night’s midterm elections big yield is that Democrats have taken back control of the House of Representatives.  As of 7 a.m., Democrats had won 219 House seats and taken 26 seats from  Republican incumbents.  The Senate results showed the GOP gained two seats, helping secure its control with a 51-45 majority.

Democrats also won some key gubernatorial races, including Wisconsin and Michigan – both states carried by Trump in 2016.
