|Duke University||classes will be canceled after 5 p.m. Wednesday. The severe weather policy will be effective at noon on Thursday.|
|East Carolina University||will not hold classes scheduled to start after 12 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11 and will not hold classes for the remainder of this week.|
|NC Central University||has cancelled all classes on Wednesday, Sept. 12, Thursday, Sept. 13, and Friday, Sept. 14.|

|Winston-Salem State University||is cancelling all classes and student activities for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, Sept. 13-15.|
