As the federal investigation into Michael Cohen’s business dealings continues, it is reported that following the 2016 election, Cohen aggressively pitched and sold access to President Trump. Cohen closed several lucrative “consulting” deals offering himself up as the person who could help companies “better understand” American business dealings and have access the President himself. He was paid $1.2 million by pharmaceutical giant Novartis, at least $200,000 by AT&T and about $500,000 from a company linked to Viktor Vekselberg, a Russian oligarch with close ties to the Kremlin.
