Columbia Resource Officer Will Lose Job

Officer Ben Fields, the South Carolina police officer who was taped body-slamming a high-school girl will be fired. Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott, maintains that there is a third video showing the girl first hitting Fields, is expected to share his findings this afternoon in another press conference. The girl’s attorney has indicated that she suffered multiple injuries to her neck and back, and her arm is currently in a cast.
