The list of nominees for BET’s Best Gospel Artist Award was a tough one but Holy Hip Hop’s Lecrae walked away with the big win. Nominated once before in 2013 for Best Gospel Artist and in 2014 for Best Impact Track at the BET Hip Hop Awards, the third time turns out to be a charm.

Lecrae also won a Grammy this year for Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song for “Messengers”, a song featuring For King & Country.
