Ebola Patient In Nebraska Dies

Dr. Martin Salia who contracted Ebola in Sierra Leone passed away today at the Nebraska hospital where he was being treated. Salia, 44, had been airlifted out of Sierra Leone and arrived at the University of Nebraska Medical Center on Saturday. On Sunday, Salia’s condition was reported as very critically ill. Salia is the tenth known Ebola case in the U.S. and the second to pass away. Ebola has claimed the lives of over 5,000 people in Africa.
