We have learned that the disgraceful Clippers owner Donald Sterling, is in a fight for his life and has been diagnosed with prostate cancer, according to the New York Post and ESPN.  “They thought he would die two years ago,”€ a source told the Post. “People have been predicting his imminent demise. I’m sure he has the best … drugs money can buy. He can do anything to keep himself alive.”

Sterling, 80 has been reportedly staying in his Beverly Hills penthouse because he thinks his Malibu mansion has been bugged and “calling everyone, saying: ‘Tell me I’m not a racist,'” a source told the Post, adding that the friends are refusing, thinking Sterling might be recording them.

The banned L.A. Clippers owner was recorded by his 31-year-old girlfriend, V. Stiviano who was seen in photos online with Magic Johnson and Dodgers outfielder Matt Kemp.

Sterling’s famours remarks of ”It bothers me a lot that you want to broadcast that you’re associating with black people. Do you have to?” has also cost him a fine of $2.5 million, and he has a lifetime ban from any association with the NBA and the Clippers.

NBA owners are trying to remove ownership of the Clippers from Sterling, just as NBA Commisioner Adam Sliver requested, holding their first meeting with the advisory/finance committee about Sterling on Thursday.

The 10-member committee held a conference call to and brainstormed on  “the process for termination of Donald T. Sterling’s ownership of the Los Angeles Clippers,” NBA executive vice president Mike Bass said. “The committee unanimously agreed to move forward as expeditiously as possible and will reconvene next week.”

A forced sale has to require the approval of three-fourths of the league’s 30 owners. Silver said he is faithful that he would get the votes he needs to have the Clippers sold.
