Congratulations to Patrick Cannon

Congratulations are in order to Radio One’s own Patrick Cannon as he wins the Charlotte city mayoral race over Republican Edwin Peacock. With a little over 53% of the vote, Cannon, a Charlotte native was introduced to an elated watch party crowd by the city’s first African American mayor, Democrat Harvey Gantt, and stated that he “…is realizing a life goal.”
