The White House announced yesterday that President Trump has canceled a visit by the Philadelphia Eagles set for today, they said because some players are taking a knee during the national anthem and disrespecting our country. Ironically, according to a tweet by wide receiver Torry Smith, none of the Eagles took a knee last season. Apparently only about 10 Eagles had accepted the White House invite. Trump, in turn uninvited the whole team promising a different sort of celebration. In response, the mayor of Philadelphia, Jim Kenney, called Trump a “fragile egomaniac.” And says that city hall is open for a celebration to day in the city of brotherly love
