Judge Rejects Jinwright’s Request For Bond

A U.S. District Judge on Friday refused Bishop Anthony Jinwright’s request for bond while Jinwright awaits sentencing. In an 11-page ruling, Judge Frank Whitney, who presided over Jinwright’s four-week trial, rejected all of Jinwright’s requests.
The pastor of Greater Salem City of God faces a possible 50 years in prison. His wife, Harriet Jinwright, was convicted on four counts and faces a possible 20 years.
Whitney has not set a sentencing date. Harriet Jinwright was allowed to remain free pending sentencing.
