Will Smith Support Wife In Skipping The Oscars

Will Smith joined Robin Roberts this morning on Good Morning America to share that he will be joining his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith in sitting out this years Oscars.  Smith, spoke about issues with diversity in Hollywood; a hot bed issue after the 20 major acting nominees nominations for this year’s Oscars, for the second year in a row, are all white.

Noting that he was out of the country when his wife announced on social media that she not be attending this year’s Oscars, he said, “She’s deeply passionate and when she is moved she has to go.I heard her words and I was knocked over. I was happy to be married to that woman.”
