“An arrest has been made in connection with the shooting of two police officers in #Ferguson. Thank you for your help,” the St. Louis County Police Department said in a tweet just after 1pm ET.
The shooting on Thursday, hours after Ferguson Police Chief Jackson resigned, left two cops wounded, allegedly with a bullet still lodged in one’s head. The officers were released from the hospital about nine hours after the incident.
A press conference was set to be held at 2:30 p.m. ET Sunday, officials said.
