Former ‘ER’ Star Mekhi Phifer Files For Bankruptcy
One actor that we love has gone bankrupt. OldSchool 103.5 has learned that former ‘ER’ star Mekhi Phifer filed for bankruptcy last month, claiming $67,000 in assets while his debt estimates to be $1.3 million.
Phifers legal documents show that he spends about $11,600 monthly, but only earns $7,500. The actor has $1.2 million in back taxes, $50k in lawyers fees, and $4,500 in back child support.
TMZ reported that his assets included a leather bed, a 12-year-old Segway, and a large collection of firearms.
