President Barack Obama won handily in his bid to serve a second term. Despite a sluggish economy and divided nation, Mr. Obama won both the Electoral College and Popular vote in Tuesday’s Presidential election.
Mr. Obama’s victory signals a mandate of sorts to push his economic agenda. Awaiting Mr. Obama is a looming fiscal crisis – which includes the Debt Ceiling, the expiration of the Bush Era tax cuts and Congressional gridlock.
