President Barack Obama won handily in his bid to serve a second term. Despite a sluggish economy and divided nation, Mr. Obama won both the Electoral College and Popular vote in Tuesday’s Presidential election.

Mr. Obama’s victory signals a mandate of sorts to push his economic agenda. Awaiting Mr. Obama is a looming fiscal crisis – which includes the Debt Ceiling, the expiration of the Bush Era tax cuts and Congressional gridlock. With Republicans still in control of the House of Representatives and a boisterous Republican minority in the Senate, getting things done in Washington D.C. may prove difficult, especially if Republicans continue to exploit the filibuster to kill legislation. ‘COMMUNITY VOICES’ host, Ron Holland, talks with Business Reporter, Myra Thomas and Campaign Strategist, Colette Forrest about Mr. Obama’s historic victory and the battles ahead.
