Stellar Awards voting started a week ago and some hopefuls are using social media to help secure votes. Last week, gospel star Earnest Pugh posted a message on Twitter:
I would be honored by your VOTE!
Pugh shared a link which provided votes with a list of all categories that voters could vote for him. They include:
- Category 1: Artist of the Year
- Category 2: Song of the Year
- Category 3: Male Vocalist of the Year
- Category 7: CD of the Year
- Category 9: Producer of the Year
- Category 12: Contemporary Male Vocalist
- Category 16: Contemporary CD
- Category 18: Urban Inspiration Single
- Category 29: Praise and Worship CD
Whew … Earnest is doing it. I must say, that I have never participated in Stellar Award voting, but I will likely participate this year and will probably vote for Earnest … especially after his awesome Praise in the Park performance.
