Bob Johnson will headline the Urban Business Network meeting on Saturday at the Westin. The meeting will be a moderated townhall designed to give business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs a chance to network and hear helpful tips.
Johnson will be joined by other business and local leaders such as Mayor Anthony Foxx, JCSU president Ron Carter, Urban League CEO Patrick Graham and others. No Grease Barbershop organized the townhall, which is also sponsored by Wells Fargo.
“(There’s) a need for other businesses to come together, network, socialize, trade information ideas and resources,” said No Grease co-owner Damian Johnson. “This really is the time for the Charlotte urban business community to get some type of common ground when discussing business.”
Johnson described Saturday’s event as a kickoff that will hopefully inspire ongoing networking.
