Charlotte Recycling Center Catches Fire
More than two dozen firefighters responded to a blaze Wednesday morning at a recycling facility in east Charlotte, the Charlotte Fire Department said. According to WCNC, crews arrived to find the fire burning inside the building on the 7800 block of Pence Road. Firefighters brought the flames under control within 30 minutes. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation, and officials have not yet determined the extent of the damage.
