Black College Invitation Championship Set for This Weekend
The Black College Invitation Championship (BCIC) will take place from March 20th-22nd at Bojangles Coliseum in Charlotte, NC. The tournament, starting daily at 12:00 p.m., will feature teams from the CIAA, MEAC, SIAC, and SWAC conferences, with champions crowned in both men’s and women’s divisions. Additional activities and events will also be held throughout the weekend. The coliseum is located at 2700 E Independence Blvd. This events marks the first significant black college tournament in Charlotte since the departure of CIAA in 2020.
