Entrepreneurialism and the steps to build a viable business is an essential part of the curriculum at ACE Academy Public Charter School. The traditional areas of education including, math, reading and writing is certainly a standard part of the classroom experience, but it’s matched with technology-based science, financial literacy and character building. Five years after its inception, ACE Academy Public Charter School is now 400 students strong. ‘COMMUNITY VOICES’ host, Ron Holland talked with Laila Minott, Executive Director of ACE Academy Public Charter School and the school’s Board Chair, Shawn Smalls about their extraordinary journey.
