Contrary to several inaccurate reports, Tom Brady is not the first to win five Super Bowl rings.  That honor belongs to NFL veteran Charles Haley. Haley won two Super Bowl rings as a linebacker for the San Francisco 49ers and won three as a defensive end for the Dallas Cowboys. Haley hails from Gladys, VA and attended William Campbell High School and James Madison University. He was drafted in 1986 by the San Francisco 49ers in the fourth round (96th overall). He played for the 49ers for six seasons, then joined the Cowboys, where he played for five seasons, before finishing his career back with the 49ers. Regarded as one of the most dominant pass rushers of all time, Haley’s career stats include 100.5 sacks.
