Remembering Robert Holland of Doc McKenzie and The Hi-Lites.  Holland, a 19 year member of the Hi-Lites,  has passed away after battling health issues for several years.

Over the years fans have enjoyed hearing him on songs like “Down the Road,” “Born by the River,” and “One Touch.” Holland’s voice was often compared to that of Sam Cooke, and it is said of everyone who knew him, that he was a kind man with a heart of gold. Prayers are indeed extended to his family and friends.
