Storm System Brings Rain and Flooding

Friday starts off with a flash flood watch in the Charlotte region. Rain is expected to continue through Sunday, at times heavy, with expectation of 4 to 6 inches over the weekend.
It looks like Hurricane Joaquin will remain too far offshore to impact the Charlotte area. Though it has been upgraded to a Category 4, it has shifted course east. The wet weather we’ll see is from another system over the Southeast.
