City of Baltimore Settles With Family of Freddie Gray

The City of Baltimore has settled for $6.4 million in the civil lawsuit against the it by the family of Freddie Gray. The settlement was decided today by a five-member board led by Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake. The settlement does not acknowledge wrongdoing by police. Six officers will be tried separately for Gray’s death by an injury sustained in police custody.
