President Barack Obama turns 54 today! While the 44th President of has had the validity of his birth certificate hotly contested, he was born on Aug. 4, 1961 in Honolulu, and at age 47 he became the United States’ fifth-youngest commander-in-chief.
The president is reportedly working today, meeting this morning with United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and having his weekly lunch with Vice President Joe Biden. Late in the day he meets with American Jewish community leaders to discuss the Iran nuclear deal. I’m sure he’ll take a moment at some point to have some cake. Happy birthday Mr. President!
