The anticipated wait is over! The world’s greatest storyteller Dorothy Norwood is slated to release her 52nd solo project “An Incredible Journey” in October of 2014 on her own label DNMG (Dorothy Norwood Music Group) and distributed through EPJ (EchoPark JDI Entertainment).
Produced by Cedric Thompson and Dorothy Norwood, Norwood is elated at the opportunity to be a part of the Echo Park/JDI Entertainment family.
“An Incredible Journey” is being described as her best work to date. Leading the way is, “When the Church Begins to Pray” featuring Melvin Williams, which is soaring up the gospel music charts, “Oh Jesus” written by V. Michael McKay is destined to be the worship anthem of the year, to “It Could have been Me” featuring the amazing Dorinda Clark-Cole, this song will definitely take you to church. Norwood has taken traditional gospel music and added a contemporary flare designed to minister to the whole man.
With songs like “Great Jehovah God” featuring VaShawn Mitchell and her classic remake of Bill Withers’ “Lean on Me”, and “Blessing in the Pressing”, written by Shonda English featuring LeJuene Thompson. This project has something for every generation and is being defined as a musical artistic masterpiece.
