Raleigh, NC — Raleigh, NC — The Gospel Community recently embraced its newest woman’s conference.  Under the leadership and birthed from the vision of Apostle Veryl Howard, the first “God’s Women in Music, Ministry and Entertainment” conference took place in Raleigh-Durham, NC.  Women in attendance were all asked to fast before they arrived and were greeted at the hotel door with anticipated expectation.

While there a rare opportunity for many gave upcoming actors and actresses an opportunity to show their chops for a casting call which was given before crew members of the soon to be released film “For Thine is the Kingdom,” set to be released in 2014.  

Approximately 40 or more aspiring actors and new comers took advantage of the opportunity to deliver Cold Leads before the film’s director Joshua Coates and other crew members  Coates says, “We are currently looking at potentially two of the 40 or so aspiring actors who participated.”

About Joshua Coates

His nickname DJC Born on March 10th 1982 Joshua Coates hit the Ground running! His Creativity & never die attitude was passed down from his father Maurice Coates who was the foundering member of the hit Philadelphia R&B Group Brenda & the Tabulations of the late 60′s. However, it is to his spiritual parents, Shepherd Mother Elaine Cobb (Head Quarters Church Of God In Philadelphia) who discovered and helped develop his abilities in the performing arts, and presiding Bishop, Bishop Henry A. Cobb (Head Quarters Church Of God In Philadelphia) who brought him up in the Gospel that Joshua Coates gives credit and recognition to for the success he is today. In 1996, while attending Philadelphia’s High School of Creative and performing Arts, Joshua Discovered the art of film making and theater Production. His love for movie making grew rapidly as he often cut class during school and spent countless hours after school on editing machines learning and perfecting his craft.
