The Moral Monday protests at the General Assembly in Raleigh have drawn hundreds and resulted in dozens of arrests. Participants have spanned racial and economic lines.
The protests have drawn national attention and have been derided by state GOP leaders. The protests began on April 29 with less than 20 protestors. The most recent a few weeks ago drew several hundreds.
