University Park minister Nicole Massie delivered the sermon at First Christian Church. Massie talked about the importance of using our diversity to unite us in faith. Her sermon at First Christian on East Boulevard was part of the Xchange Sermons program.
Dozens of churches throughout the city have participated in the program in which ministers from different churches speak to other congregations.
Stay tuned. The Park is planning a multi-cultural service for people who don’t like church. The first one is April 1 at the Park on Independence Boulevard. There will be a multi-cultural band, spoken word and more. More details to come.
