Yolanda Adams stopped by the Praise studio to share exciting news about her latest project, Sunny Days,” her first album in 13 years. The gospel legend opened up about how her intentional approach to not rushing  has been key to her career longevity.

The way I do everything is the way I do everything. You know, I’m very aware of what my body needs, what my voice needs.”

Being a timely and mindful person, she talked about not confusing haste with effectiveness.

Everybody’s urgency is not my emergency.”

And right on time, Adams is back with her 15th album. Despite the lengthy hiatus, she has clearly stayed in tune with her purpose, delivering music that reflects her life and faith.

“Sunny Days” is a 15-track offering and includes features from Terry Hunter, Sir The Baptist and Donald Lawrence.

She also discussed going on the road on the Reunion Tour, where she’s sharing the stage with gospel icons like Kirk Franklin, Fred Hammond, and Marvin Sapp.

Adams’ patience and dedication to her craft have kept her at the forefront of gospel music, proving that sometimes taking your time leads to timeless results.
