A gunman opened fire on a group of Republican lawmakers practicing an annual congressional baseball game in Alexandria, Virginia this morning. Reportedly multiple people were injured, including Majority Whip Rep. Steve Scalise (R-La.) and two Capitol Hill police officers when 50 to 100 shots fired. Scalise is reported to have been shot in the hip, but is in stable condition. The suspect was shot as well and has been taken into custody.
