'Soul Train' creator Don Cornelius found dead

Sad news in the music world this morning.

Don Cornelius, the man behind classic 1971 – 2006 dance show Soul Train, was found dead in his Sherman Oaks, Calif., home this morning.

Reports show that law enforcement sources say he died from a gunshot wound to the head and officials believe it was self-inflicted. He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Cornelius was 75.
