Apple Has Record Breaking Holiday Season

Apple announced this morning a record breaking holiday season for it’s App Store, recording some $1.1 billion spent on apps and in-app purchases. This number covers a two week time period surrounding the holiday season, ending on January 3. New Year’s Day, not Christmas Day was in fact the biggest day in App Store history, logging $144 million in sales that day.
