2016 ended on a high note for Jekalyn Carr, with her debut live recording, The Life Project, and lead single “You’re Bigger.”
2017 has already found Carr wrapped in the excitement of her next venture, on the set of Sony Pictures film, I Never Heard My Father Speak. The film’s star-studded cast, includes Robin Givens, Romeo Miller, David Banner, Kandi Burruss and Karrueche Tranas well as fellow gospel artist J. Moss. In the film, Carr appears as herself, singing “You’re Bigger,” and sharing words of exhortation with the characters in one of the film’s most pivotal scenes. The film is currently scheduled for a March release.
