Just imagine having to choose between paying rent/mortgage or buying food. 35% of North Carolina face this dilemma everyday. Imagine having to choose between paying the heating utility bill and placing food on the table. Well, 42% of needy families in North Carolina is confronting this issue on a daily basis. And it’s especially difficult during the height of Winter. Even more daunting, according to ‘FEED EFFECT,’ one in 5 North Carolina children under 18 is hungry.
