Amtrak service between Philadelphia and New York City resumes today six days after a train derailed and killed eight people and injured 200 others.  Amtrak President Joe Boardman says that the infrastructure repairs have been made with in compliance with Federal Railroad Administration directives.  This past weekend Amtrak announced it has installed speed controls, which force trains to slow down. Current investigations are focused on the fact that the train was going 106 mph when it entered a curve and derailed.
