Rumor has it that Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel will be suspended for just half of the Aggies’ season opener against Rice on Saturday.
The NCAA has not formally recommended whether A&M should play him or not. Texas A&M walks the line here as one play is enough to hold a program accountable for fielding an ineligible player. Should he later be found guilty, Texas A&M would have to forfeit those games.
