More than 25 local restaurants are participating in the 15th annual fundraiser Taste of the Nation. The event raises money to combat hunger. Most of the proceeds go to Second Harvest Food Bank and Community Culinary School of the Arts, both of which help a large number of African Americans.
The event is 7 p.m. April 14 at the Wachovia Atrium. http://strength.org/charlotte/
