Taste of the Nation raised nearly $100,000 to feed hungry children in Charlotte and throughout the nation. Proceeds from the event, held last week at the Wells Fargo Atrium, will be donated to Second Harvest Food Bank and Community Culinary School of Arts.

More than 25 local restaurants are participating in the 15th annual fundraiser Taste of the Nation. The event raises money to combat hunger. Most of the proceeds go to Second Harvest Food Bank and Community Culinary School of the Arts, both of which help a large number of African Americans.
