Several schools in the Charlotte Metro area and surrounding counties will be closed on Monday, September 30, due to the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. The storm has left thousands across the Carolinas without power or cell service, prompting these closures.
Per WBTV, many roads remain closed, making it difficult for students and staff to travel safely. As a result, several school districts have opted to cancel in-person classes or implement remote learning for the day.
