Solange Knowles Takes A Stand Against Bullying

Solange Knowles took to Twitter this weekend to encourage parents to talk to their kids about bullying. According to Essence.com, Knowles tweeted:

Parents need to talk to children & tell them how serious it is when they tease, joke , banter, form groups against, & explain consequences!

Knowles said parents can’t put anything past their kids. She says she talked to her son about being bullied and being a bully.

Says Solange: “I remember being a child when something horrible is happening…it DOES feel like the end of the world.”
