Congratulations to the Clemson Tigers who won the College Football Playoff national championship last night. In a last-second victory against the Alabama, Clemson bested the Crimson Tide 35-31, stunning the crowd at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. In the last seconds, Quarterback Deshaun Watson connected with Hunter Refroe in the end zone, giving Clemson its first national title since 1981. Just one year ago, Clemson lost in the playoff final against Alabama 45-40.
