Bernie Sanders has formally endorsed Hillary Clinton this morning, and is joining forces in the campaign against Republican candidate Donald Trump.  Sanders made this announcement at a rally in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, a state he won in the Democratic primary.

Sanders thanked the 13 million people who voted for him in the primaries, and began outlining reasons for those voters to convert to support Hilary in her race to win the White House, noting her quest for affordable healthcare, tax reform and increased access to higher education. Sanders’ high level of support with millennial voters is one area Clinton could benefit from, if those voters switched to support her.
